The Best Versatile Portrait Lens
Say you have a graduation shoot and the graduate brought her family along for some family photos, or you're doing mini-sessions and have limited time with each client. You may or may not be comfortable switching between lenses to get some variety of close-up shots and group photos.
How can you get that sweet bokeh without having to run across a field to adjust to your lens focal length?
Zoom lenses are the best option for these types of situations.
If you want creamy bokeh as with as wide angle shots that aren't heavily distorted, a 24-70mm f/2.8 lens may be just what you're looking for.
I use the Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM Lens for my portraits, fashion, editorials, graduates - it's even my go to lens when I travel! Check out some of my favorite photos with the best lens:
What's your favorite portrait lens? Do you prefer prime lenses or zoom lenses? Or do you fluctuate between both?
