The light peeked out of the clouds on this rainy day in Calgary, AB, just in time for P & B’s cocktail hour at Park by Sidewalk Citizen. The restaurant’s ambience and coziness allowed guests to mingle and snack on appetizers before the evening reception began.

The couple wanted some alone time during the early half of the hour, and so as their Calgary wedding photographer, I was able to capture these calm candids of their guests. When the couple of the hour entered the room, they were surrounded by the people they loved and you can see their genuine joy being in such an intimate space with their favorite people.
